Celebrating our Heritage Enhancing our Environment Shaping our Future

Wednesday 10th June 2020

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and current guidelines on social distancing we have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel this event. Notification of a revised date will be put up as soon as this has been agreed.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Salisbury Civic Society will be held in the Methodist Church, St Edmunds Church Street, Salisbury, SP1 1EF on Wednesday 10th June 2019 commencing at 6.30 pm.    This event is free to everyone.

The formal business will be followed by a talk by Phil Harding ALONG THE LINE: A life in Archaeology. Philip Harding DL FSA is a British field archaeologist. He has become a familiar face on the Channel 4 television series Time Team. Harding trained on various excavations with the Bristol University Extra Mural Department and other bodies from 1966; he has been a professional archaeologist since 1971.

Please join us at the AGM to ensure the future of the Society.    The AGM will be unable to elect the Trustees and Officers we need to operate the Society and to make important decisions unless at least 22 members of the Society are present and able to vote. For corporate member representatives to vote they must be authorised by their parent organisation in a written notice to the Society.
