Tours of the Guildhall

We plan to offer guided tours of the Guildhall with Margaret Smith, the blue badge guide   on Monday 17th February  in the morning and afternoon. The present Guildhall building was erected in 1795, replacing the previous Bishop’s Guildhall and Council house buildings. The tour will visit the rooms available on the day, and will include some or most of the following: The Banqueting Room, the two court rooms and the Civic Silver.
