An Invitation to the Civic Society’s Annual General Meeting 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Salisbury Civic Society will be held at the Methodist Church on Tuesday 30^th September at 6.30 pm.

Our guest speaker will be Eleanor Burke, the new Chief Executive of Salisbury BID. Ellie was appointed to the role in April 2025 having previously been involved in shaping the city’s marketing strategy and leading initiatives such as Taste Salisbury, Indies Month, and Christmas in Salisbury.

Ellie will be describing the key role BID plays in supporting and advocating for local businesses, delivering meaningful impact to the city of Salisbury, along with an insight into the Salisbury 800 celebrations planned for the city in 2027.

Unfortunately, Feargal Sharkey, who was due to speak at the AGM, has had to cancel, due to active engagement with the recent Independent Water Commission, led by Sir Jon Cunliffe.

The evening is free and along with members and their guests anyone interested in learning more  about the Society is very welcome
